WOW!!! What An Event At Santa Ana High School In California…

Posted on 23 December 2015 by robertflournoy

On December 2oth at Santa Ana High School over 50 or more volunteers unloaded,

prepared and set up one of the greatest events in 2015. 100 students from 20 schools

were invited to participate in receiving a Christmas box filled with ham and all the

sides for their families. Loaves and Fishes x10, Santa Ana PTA and Santa Ana High

School lead by principal Jeff Bishop put together an event like never before at least that

we know of in Santa Ana. Families were invited into the small theater where they

received the boxes donated by The Vikings Of Orange County.

Each kid that participated was chosen by the PTA member over the school they

represent. Members chose students according to who was in need the most. This was

the best way to do it because of how many students are in the schools they cover. Families

came in very excited about being able to take home a Christmas dinner with all the

trimmings provided by The Vikings Of Orange County  organization who donated over

1,600 boxes that morning to various non profits.

Not only were boxes given away to families but toys were raffled off for free as well. You

should have seen how the students reacted when they new they had the opportunity to receive

a free toy or doll. Parents and students both had the look on their face of expectation.

This truly was a great event and we couldn’t have done it without principal Jeff Bishop

of Santa Ana High School,David Deleon of the PTA, PTA members,Impact OC

but especially the donation of boxes from The Vikings Of Orange County.

Friday the 18th Loaves and Fishes x10 was out supporting families from the Active and

Reserve Navy and other branches this Christmas season. The president of the organization

seen at top was excited about the opportunity to be able to support the families.

Over 331 toys were donated to the organization and we wanted to be able to

support our military families. We believe they deserve much more for their bravery and

we wanted to show them that Loaves and Fishes x10 cares.

This was the first year that we have had the opportunity to do something this great.

We felt very proud to have been able to support the men and women who put their

lives on the line for this country to protect us all.

Its been a while but we finally have a song created for the organization and we really enjoy it.

This song was created by Nik Robinson and sung by his mother Lolita Robinson. The song

“Be The Change” is a song designed to reach everyone to let them know that we all can do

something to make a positive change.

Humble and excited is what Robert Flournoy said about receiving his Certificates Of

Recognition from Congressman Alan Lowenthal and Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez

for his support in the 14th Spending a Day at the Santa Ana Zoo Event where hundreds

of families attend every year.

The president has been donating to these events for over four years. These events

are another way for him to support the community and to give what the Lord has

put in his hands to give.

We acknowledge that Loaves and Fishes x10 couldn’t do what we do without  Orange

County Farmers trusting us with their produce. We have been faithful to what has been

put in the organization hands and will continue to do so. We are looking for another great

year partnering with “The Original Manassero Farms” and “Orange County Produce”.

Once again because of generous Orange County Farmers we have helped to give fresh

produce to families from  Orange County to Los Angeles County by partnering with

food banks,soup kitchen’s and churches.

Oh yeah! We forgot to mention these Certificate Of  Appreciation…
