It was an event in the making for 3 months between Loaves and Fishes x10,The Original
Manassero Farms and O.C Autism. The purpose of the event was for O.C Autism to make
a scarecrow for the farm that will go on the field.

Julie Diep Director of O.C Autism was having a good time making the scarecrow because
this was her first time she and her team ever made one. This team are always excited
when it comes to events and it shows here in the pictures.

O.C Autism is a great organization to partner with they bring excitement and creativity
to the party and are very funny and professional.

Retired California State Senator Lou Correa came by as well to enjoy the atmosphere and the
great food donated by Mustard Cafe in Irvine. The senator is a good friend to the Loaves and
Fishes x10 organization. We enjoyed supporting his healthy eating campaigns he use to have.
Thank you Lou Correa for spending the day with us at The Original Manassero Farms.

What another productive week distributing to Food Banks and not just in Orange
County but to Food Banks in general. Orange County Food Bank was one of
the biggest Food Banks last week to receive farm fresh produce from our Orange
County farmers. Bryk seen here with the president of Loaves and Fishe x10 has
been very helpful in getting the donated produce out of the van.

The Los Angeles Food Bank was another recipient of produce from The Original
Manassero Farms. Through our contacts we were able to send over 1,808 lbs to
the Food Bank. This was the first time we have ever donated to this great organization
helping to stomp out hunger in their area.

Serve The People another organization in Santa Ana serves between 200 to 500
people every to weeks. Drivers will either come out to the farm to pick up or we
will deliver to them like we did last week. We were able to deliver around 1,300
lbs to them last Friday.

We will continue to donate to these great organizations because we see what great
things they are doing to help the community.

This week has been our biggest donation yet of fresh zucchini and yellow squash.
We really were overwhelmed with the amount of produce that came from the field.
With an average of 1,500 to 2,000 lbs every two weeks its no wonder we
donated over 15,063 lbs in two weeks to Food Banks.

Orange County Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank, Orange County Rescue
Mission, The Santa Ana Food Bank, Serve The People and Hands Of Mercy
Encounter have all been recipients of this great blessing.

Another great weekend with volunteers picking more oranges at the Ronald
McDonald House. This time we picked over 402 lbs for Food Banks. All them
oranges with the leaves on them looking pretty delicious. Volunteers really
seem to enjoy themselves at the house this morning.

David and Vince put their shoulders into it and picked some of the sweetest
oranges you will ever taste. These oranges would bust open if they fell on the
ground or dropped them t in the crates.

As usual during the last hour volunteers will clean up around the orange
trees. Many oranges will fall on the ground and volunteers do their best
leave an lasting impression by cleaning up the area.

What a great day we had at the Ronald McDonald House Saturday picking oranges. A
group of 10 volunteers came out including unit 6 Navy Recruiting office from San Diego.
This is the third year the Ronald McDonald House let our organization pick their oranges
for Food Banks. This year so far we picked over 700 lbs of fresh oranges for families and
plan to go back and pick the rest.

It was fun as usual and all the volunteers enjoyed themselves including he president
who was not picking but was raking up around the orange trees.
Division 6 Honey Badgers came out and did a great job but what do you expect when the
Recruiting office comes out. These guys really know how to get it done and it showed Saturday.

David Deleon from the Kiwanis club came out with his family and enjoyed the Sunny
day helping out as well. David has been a strong support of Loaves and Fishes x10.

We would like to thank all the volunteers once again who came out and helped
to pick the oranges at the Ronald McDonald House this past weekend.
