Its been a long week for the president but a productive one due to all the donations
coming from the farm. This week the organization was able to donate over 10,000 lbs
to Orange County Food Banks including Saddleback Church Food Pantry, Second Harvest
Food Bank,Orange County Rescue Mission and Edward B Cole Sr. Academy a school
in Santa Ana California.

Saddleback who feeds over 3,500 people or more took back over thousands of
pounds last week to help the many families they serve. Second Harvest in Irvine
received fresh produce for the hundreds of non-profits they serve as well.

The Orange County Rescue Mission in Tustin who cooks hundreds of meals
everyday received over 600 lbs to help their community. In all we were able to
donate over 10,000 lbs thanks to The Original Manassero Farms donations.

Yes, its been a busy one but according to the president there is no comparison to
being out on the farm receiving just picked produce to donate.

This is our first year supporting Santa Ana High School with one of their events.
Through our connections we have made through the years of fighting hunger we
were able to get donations for this exciting Mothers Day event they hosted for
the volunteers who give of their time. ThackerBerry Farms donated 4 flats of
strawberries and Vineyard Community Church donated apples and cantaloupe.

We want to thank our community partners for their continued support of Loaves and
Fishes x10 we couldn’t do what we do without you.

We want to thank the Navy Recruiting District in San Diego for taking on the fight

Los Angeles County all the way to San Diego County was the recipient of this
