The weeks seem to feel long when we are preparing to Distribute food in the
Community to help support families with enough food to help them through the
week. Two weeks ago we served 20 families in Santa Ana with the support of
some of our friends. This was an Evangelical event that turned out as always exciting
and filled with anticipation to see what will happen when the spirit of God is movimg.
This is an area the President has been watering for some years with prayer and
Distribution of f00d and in fact he did his first Outreach in the same neighborhood
13 years ago under the name resurrectionministry.llc where his first turn out was 250
families or 1,000 served.
This coming Thursday will be a non Evangelical event designed to reach families who
have lready been told about the Distribution and Saturday will be more of a surprise
for a group of families. One thing for sure the demand is greater than the supply these
days.
On another note we will be Harvesting Oranges for one of the many Food Pantries
that support us. There are over 50 trees on Irvine Valley College in Orange California
a County that was known for its trees. L&F x10 will be Harvesting side by side with the
S.I.F.E team from Irvine Valley College. S.I.F.E stands for ” Ahead for business. A
heart for the world” Last year together we Harvested 12 crates for a Food Pantry
that served 3,000 people.
