Tuesday September 13th the president of Loaves and Fishes x10 received a

Certificate of appreciation from the Santa Ana Unified School District Board

for supporting schools with groceries. The certificate was presented to him by

board member Valerie Amezcua at the board room. Principal Lisa Solomon

from Madison Elementary where the August 19th event took place said some good

words about the president and his efforts to give groceries to 500 students. This

was the third event Loaves and Fishes x10 did this years for students in Santa Ana.

Madison Elementary School serves over 1200 students. The school is identified as a School wide Title I program based on over 95% of the families qualifying for free and reduced lunch. We believe that all students are capable of academic excellence and learning far beyond normal expectations when provided with proper support, guidance and care from the community, administration, faculty, staff, parents and fellow students. We also believe that by providing the proper guidance and support to families we are able to help our entire community.

With the majority of families in the community living in poverty, we want to be able to help and support our families by helping to meet basic survival needs.
With your help and support, we will be distributing food to families from Madison Elementary, Kennedy Elementary and Roosevelt Elementary.

Our goal is to end hunger locally by providing food to those who need it most. It’s about getting real food to real families.
